Everyone at the company is currently working remotely, though our Truckee, CA office is available to team members. Once it’s completely safe for all employees, we anticipate transitioning to a hybrid model with local employees working a combination at home and in the office. As such, a candidate’s ability to commute to Truckee may be taken into consideration.

Technical Project Coordinator

Recyclist is seeing a Technical Project Coordinator to join our Data Solutions Team. The Technical Project Coordinator will work primarily, under the direction of the Product Manager, on configuring, deploying and maintaining a subset of Program Tracker applications, all while maintaining the highest levels of quality control. As such, the ideal candidate is eager to work in a fast-paced team environment. The Technical Project Coordinator will analyze customer data and respond to support requests from customers, as well as taking steps to proactively ensure customer success. The Technical Project Coordinator will also contribute to overall management of team processes, with tasks ranging from administrative support to developing new systems and workflows. Because Recyclist manages numerous applications, the Technical Project Coordinator must demonstrate strong collaboration skills, effective communication and technical ability.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordinated effort of configuring and deploying new installations for our Program Tracker.
  • Deploy new features to Program Tracker applications based on customer needs and circumstances.
  • Fulfill customer support requests and take steps to proactively ensure customer success.
  • Facilitate collaboration between our Product and Engineering Teams to triage issues.
  • Communicate project timelines and team member tasks clearly.
  • Contribute to the development of new Program Tracker features.

Data / SQL Engineer

Recyclist is seeking a Data / SQL Engineer to join our Engineering Team. The Data / SQL Engineer works closely with our Product Team to develop, maintain, expand and optimize our data to meet the requirements of our customers. The Data / SQL Engineer executes and develops SQL to transform varied datasets provided by our customers into standard data. They also perform additional data manipulations within our applications using Deluge, Zoho’s proprietary scripting language, to meet Recyclist and customer specifications. Key to this position is a focus on data and system integrity and consistency across multiple applications. The Data / SQL Engineer must demonstrate strong collaboration skills, effective communication and technical ability.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline and transformation of data.
  • Evaluate incoming data for patterns, changes and inconsistencies; develop solutions to transform data to adhere to compliance of standards.
  • Keep data separate and secure for each organization.
  • Collaborate with Product Team on the development of enhancements to core features and customizations in our applications along with troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Communicate with Product Team on project status.
  • Maintain the highest levels of quality control.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with relational SQL databases and authoring SQL scripts to transform data
  • Experience translating business requirements into software applications
  • Experience with data cleansing and analysis
  • Understanding of Software Design Life Cycle principles

UX/Low-Code Engineer

Recyclist is seeking a UX Engineer to join our Engineering Team. The UX Engineer works closely with our Product Team in designing, developing, delivering and maintaining an excellent user experience for our customer-facing data management applications and internal business applications built on Zoho Creator. Under direction of the Engineering Manager, the UX Engineer largely works on front-end engineering deployments and customizations, collaborates with the UX Designer on product design features, and assists in major elements of application configuration. Key to this position is a focus on system integrity and design systems across multiple applications. The UX Engineer must demonstrate strong collaboration skills, effective communication, and technical ability.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage front-end engineering enhancements, core features and customization projects for our applications.
  • Manage work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work with our Product Team to triage issues by providing technical support.
  • Communicate with the Engineering Manager and Product Managers on project status.
  • Maintain the highest levels of quality control.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with programming languages and coding practices
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of UX design and Software Design Life Cycle principles
  • Excellent communication skills
